3 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Tylor Megill (biceps) has been named the team's starting pitcher for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Megill has been on the injured list since May 11 due to biceps tendinitis. He made a rehab start at Double-A Binghamton this past Sunday. He pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed three hits, no walks and two earned runs while striking out five. The 26-year-old has made a total of seven starts with the Mets this year and he's gone 4-2 with a 4.41 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
