3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill (biceps) is scheduled to play catch on Friday, according to Mets beat writer Anthony DiComo. DiComo reports that Megill's arm is feeling better and that his timeline is looking far more favorable than his injured pitching-mates Max Scherzer (oblique) and Jacob deGrom (shoulder). Megill was diagnosed with right biceps tendonitis. He landed on the 15-day injured list this past weekend. We still don't have a very specific timeline for his return, but things should become more clear in the coming week or so. The 26-year-old has gone 4-2 with a 4.41 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP this season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
