3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey scored a game-high 27 points on 11-for-15 shooting in Wednesday's loss to Miami, hitting 2-for-5 from downtown and 3-for-3 at the charity stripe. He handed out five assists with two turnovers and had three rebounds and one block in 42 minutes of action. This was supposed to be an ugly matchup for Maxey, as Miami typically doesn't allow point guards to shine, but the 21-year-old performed very well, and he now gets a very favorable matchup against Brooklyn.
