Tyrrell Hatton Playing Well Heading Into The Open Championship

2 years agoIt has been a very good stretch of golf for Tyrrell Hatton. He has made the cut in nine of his last 10 events, including a T24 finish last week at the Scottish Open. One thing that is apparent about Hatton is that he is one of the best putters in the world. He ranks sixth on the PGA Tour this season in strokes gained putting and has gained strokes on the field in four of his last six starts. Hatton is also a fantastic links player. He's won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship twice, winning the event in 2016 and 2017. In that event, golfers play multiple links courses, including The Old Course. He has also had success at The Open Championship, posting two top-five finishes in the past five years. Hatton is priced in the upper tier in DFS and is attracting some ownership based on his track record on links golf courses.
