Tyrrell Hatton Still Looking For U.S. Open Success
3 years agoTyrrell Hatton will be making his sixth start in the U.S. Open in his career and is looking to turn the tides on his U.S. Open success. Hatton has missed three of five cuts in his U.S. Open career, including last year's event. Hatton will head into the U.S. Open off a missed cut at the RBC Canadian Open, but he had made his previous nine cuts before that. If Hatton wants to turn his fortunes around at the U.S. Open, it starts off the tee. Hatton is only hitting 55.43% of fairways so far this season, good for 165th on tour. Hatton is also hitting just 61.11% of greens this season, 195th on tour. Although his putting has been fantastic (second on tour), the struggles for Hatton won't change this week if he isn't consistently in the fairway or on the green.
