6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones scored 12 points on 4-for-9 shooting in Wednesday's preseason loss to the Clippers. Jones also grabbed a pair of rebounds and had two assists. With Derrick Rose in the starting lineup, it appears the battle of minutes as the first guard off the bench is between Jones and rookie Josh Okogie right now. With Rose's injury history, the battle for playing time is worth monitoring as the winner could play a big role for the Timberwolves down the stretch.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
