Tyus Jones Picks Up Four Steals In Start With 15 Points
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones made his 11th start of the year on Sunday with Jeff Teague (knee) on the sidelines, and he performed well, finishing with 15 points, four assists and four steals in 33 minutes. Jones shot 6-for-13 from the floor and made half of his four triples. He's been solid as a starter this year, getting 9.4 points per game with 4.9 assists and 2.9 steals, but he rarely gets the opportunity. Minnesota will be off until Thursday, which will give Teague plenty of time to recover, so Jones likely won't have a chance to put a good streak together.
