Jones’ minutes spiked back up, allowing him to shoot 7-for-10 from the floor overall, leading to a season-high-tying 16-point effort. Jones has started just three games since the New Year, figuring to continue seeing a heavy workload should both Teague and Rose miss Thursday’s contest with the Utah Jazz.
