4 years agoBubba Watson's past performances at the U.S. Open suggest that he will struggle mightily this week at Winged Foot. He has missed six cuts in his last eight starts at the U.S. Open and three in a row. He is one of the best on tour in driving distance, but the distance will not help him this week if he is constantly playing from the rough. He started to find his game a bit at the end of the 2020 season with top-20 finishes in his last two starts. That is the only silver lining for Watson, because there is no historical data or recent metrics that suggests he will play well this week. Stay away from Watson in your daily fantasy lineups.--Connor Wege
