3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays called up middle infielder/outfielder Vidal Brujan from Triple-A on Tuesday. Right-handed pitcher Calvin Faucher was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Outfielder Manuel Margot (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during Monday's game. We haven't gotten any word on the severity of the injury yet, but the move to promote Brujan could be to give the team added outfield depth while Margot gets a little time off. Brujan made one appearance with the Rays earlier this year, but he's spent most of the season at Triple-A, where he's slashed .300/.400/.467 with six doubles, six stolen bases and 15 runs over 16 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
