2 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the team's 8-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday. He now has 20 home runs on the year to go along with 56 RBI, 47 runs and a .266/.344/.488 slash line. His season's been a bit of a disappointment so far after he compiled 48 homers, 111 RBI and 123 runs while posting a 1.002 OPS in 2021. His underlying metrics are down across the board from last year, but he still remains elite in several areas.
