4 years agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Wade Davis earned his second save in as many days on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. Davis pitched a clean ninth inning on Sunday with no walks or hits allowed, recording strikes on 10 of his 14 pitches. Davis was a trainwreck in 2019, compiling a whopping 8.65 ERA in 50 appearances. However, he earned over 30 saves in both 2017 and 2018. Davis may prove to be a bit of a headache for fantasy owners this year, but for now, he's the clear primary closer in Colorado and should be a solid source of saves until further notice.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
