3 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco (quad) told reporters after Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles that he was experiencing right quad tightness again during the game. He began experiencing the tightness during a play where he was rounding third base and heading home. Due to the tightness, he avoided sliding at the plate on the play and was tagged out. It's unclear whether or not he will be held out of Saturday's game, but he doesn't anticipate a stint on the injured list will be required.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
