Wayne Ellington Puts Game Away With Late Three
7 years agoUp one with 4.6 seconds left, Miami Heat shooting guard Wayne Ellington sunk a clutch three-pointer to lead them to a win over the Charlotte Hornets Saturday night. Ellington finished with 17 points and four threes in 35 minutes off the bench. The Man with the Golden Arm has been on fire in the month of January, averaging 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.8 triples in 33.8 minutes per game. Ellington has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of Miami's injuries and should continue to be a three-point specialist off the bench with Dion Waiters (ankle) out for the year and Rodney McGruder (leg) still recovering from surgery.
