Wayne Selden Leads Memphis In Scoring Wednesday Night
7 years agoMemphis Grizzlies shooting guard Wayne Selden scored 18 points in 22 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's blowout loss to Philadelphia to lead the team in scoring. He went 3-for-6 from deep, made all five shots from the charity stripe and shot 5-for-12 overall in what's his third game in a row with double-digit points. Selden hasn't done much since finishing off January with a 24-point game at Indiana, but he's scored 17 points per game in the last three outings, and with the Grizzlies taking tanking very seriously, there should be more chances to shine for him. Especially on Thursday, as the team finishes a back-to-back set in Charlotte.
