3 years agoThe Fortinet Championship takes place at the Silverado North Golf Course this weekend, and Webb Simpson expects to be among the contenders. A couple of weeks ago at the FedEx Cup finale, Simpson shot 66-66 over the weekend to nearly sneak into the top 10 (tied for 12th). This is a par-72 course at just under 7,200 yards, so being a long hitter is not necessarily a requirement. Simpson's strokes gained overall for 2021 were 12th on tour, and his putting strokes gained were 22nd. It is safe to say he will be well prepared for this tournament.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
