Wendell Carter Jr., Chandler Hutchison Done For Season
6 years agoChicago Bulls center Wendell Carter Jr. and small forward Chandler Hutchison have both been shut down for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign due to injury. Carter last appeared Jan. 15 and his rookie season comes to an end having started all 44 games that he played in, averaging 10.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. The Bulls have little incentive for rushing him back from left thumb surgery and will allow him to use the offseason to get healthy. Hutchison also appeared in 44 games (14 starts) with Chicago during his rookie year and will miss the remainder of the year due to a right toe fracture. He averaged 5.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest.
