Wendell Carter Jr. Plays Larger Role Against Mavericks
6 years agoChicago Bulls center Wendell Carter Jr. has started all three of Chicago's games this season, but Monday's loss to the Mavericks represented a step forward in his usage. Carter played a career-high 32 minutes and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds. He wasn't able to get much going offensively, finishing with just four points on 2-for-7 shooting, but the rookie appears poised the play 30-plus minutes moving forward, increasing his fantasy upside. However, fantasy owners may want to wait to insert him into lineups until he shows more consistency.
