5 years agoChicago Bulls center Wendell Carter Jr posted 18 points and 14 rebounds in a 117-111 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. He added two assists and made all eight free-throw attempts. It's Carter Jr's third double-double in four games and his eighth of the season through 12 games. Last year's seventh overall pick is healthy and making strides on offense, shooting 60.6 percent from the field this year after posting just 48.5 percent last year. One thing to watch with Carter Jr is foul trouble- he's averaged 4.2 fouls per game and has fouled out of four contests this year, including each of the last two. Still, the second-year player is balling and will look to keep up the success Monday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.--Tim Capurso
