3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel has signed a new contract with the organization. He'll sign a two-year deal with a team option, which is great for him after only appearing in 17 games. The Lakers waived veteran forward Trevor Ariza to make room for Gabriel on the roster. Gabriel is expected to play heavy minutes during the final few regular season games. The Lakers are resting their big three and giving their rotational guys such as Gabriel a bigger look. He might hold streaming appeal in the final two games, but isn't someone worth looking at in fantasy leagues heading into next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
