7 years agoDallas Mavericks shooting guard Wesley Matthews was one of the team's few bright spots in Wednesday's 104-97 loss to the Houston Rockets. He made half of his 14 three-point attempts on his way to a season-high 29 points. Matthews went 10-for-18 overall from the floor and filled the rest of his stat sheet with five assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block in 38 minutes. He now has four games this month with at least 20 points scored and the signs are there that the early season struggles are behind him.
