4 years agoKansas City Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield was the lone run producer for the team's offense on Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers. Merrifield hit a three-run home run in a game that the team lost 4-3. It was Merrifield's second home run in an as many games. He is now slashing .368/.429/.789 on the young season. It's encouraging to see the strong start from Merrifield, particularly in the power department.
