4 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have recalled pitcher Jonathan Stiever from the teams alternative training site. Stiever was called up as the 27th man last Sunday for the clubs doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox, but didn't make an appearance. One of the White Sox top pitching prospects, Stiever possesses one of the best curveballs in the minor leagues. With Michael Kopech starting Sunday and unlikely to go many innings, there is a good chance that Steiver could see some action. Stiever is more of a name to remember for the future and should be avoided in redraft leagues.
