2 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (knee) will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Lake Elsinore on Tuesday. The 31-year-old has been on the injured list with right knee inflammation since early June. Prior to the injury, he was struggling to produce at the plate. Over 32 games this year, he's slashed .234/.276/.306 with just one home run to go along with 19 RBI and 13 runs. If he can avoid any setbacks, we're likely to see him back in the majors right after the All-Star break.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
