5 years agoDenver Nuggets small forward Will Barton continued his great run of form on Tuesday night with a season-high 21 points. Barton also contributed nine rebounds, four assists and one steal to his team, but it wasn't enough as the Nuggets fell to the Atlanta Hawks 125-121. The nine rebounds are great, as Barton has turned into quite the rebounder since he returned from a two-game absence in early November. He has led the Nuggets in rebounding in three of the last four games and is averaging a massive 7.7 rebounds per game, which is well ahead of his career average of four rebounds per game. Barton is also being efficient with his shot selection, shooting above 50% from downtown in six of his eight games this season. With Nikola Jokic still having an up-and-down start to the season, Barton has been a steady presence for the Nuggets, and fantasy managers should continue to enjoy the ride while it lasts.--Euan Leith
