3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Will Vest (illness) tested positive for COVID-19 and he has been placed on the COVID-19 injured list. The 26-year-old has been one of the team's best relievers out of the gate this year. Across 17 innings on the season, he's pitched to a 2.12 ERA and a 0.65 WHIP. He has an elite 36.7% strikeout rate (96th percentile) and he's walked a total of just four batters. There's a chance we'll see him earn some high leverage work including save chances at some point after he returns from the COVID-19 injured list.
