3 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Willi Castro has provided the team with some solid production as of late. The 24-year-old is batting .264 with a .343 on-base percentage in his last 107 plate appearances dating back to May 29. Castro has also chipped in with three home runs and three stolen bases during that span. He's generally been hitting in the bottom third of manager A.J. Hinch's lineup, but the production is encouraging to see after some early struggles at the plate. As of now, the switch-hitter is only someone to roster in deeper leagues. However, he'll be worth keeping an eye on to see if the production continues or improves after what he did in 2020. Last season, Castro hit .349 with a .381 on-base percentage and six home runs in 140 plate appearances.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
