2 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Willi Castro is getting the start at third base and is batting eighth on Sunday against Cleveland Guardians right-hander Shane Bieber. Castro will be making his second start at the hot corner in the last three games, and it appears that the struggling Jeimer Candelario is no longer the team's top option at third. Harold Castro drew the start on Saturday. Willi Castro is by no means the solution, however, as he's gone 8-for-37 (.216) with no homers and two RBI in 11 games over the last two weeks, and he's hitting .254/.288/.351 with two homers, 16 RBI and five stolen bases in 219 plate appearances over 64 games for the Tigers this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
