6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun will hit second in the lineup and serve as the Rangers designated hitter Friday. With Nomar Mazara on the disabled list, Shin-Soo Choo will likely serve as the regular right-fielder, opening up the chance for Calhoun to DH semi-regularly. With eight home runs at Triple-A and hitting second, Calhoun makes for an interesting DFS option on Fridays slate. Calhoun has flashed the ability to hit for power in his career with 31 home runs at Triple-A, between the Dodgers and Rangers organizations in 2017.--Ben Rolfe
