5 years agoGolden State Warriors center Willie Cauley-Stein has been close on multiple occasions, but finally recorded his first double-double of 2019-20 during Sunday’s defeat to the Orlando Magic. Despite seeing just 24 minutes of action, Cauley-Stein logged 11 points on 5-for-10 shooting, adding in a season-high 12 rebounds; he also dished out three assists for good measure. But unfortunately for those hopping aboard the Cauley-Stein train, big man Kevon Looney is expected back for Monday’s outing against the Hawks, which should somewhat put a cap on Cauley-Stein’s value, as his starting spot now remains up in the air moving forward.--Jesse Borek
