7 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Willy Adames will only be with the big league club a few days, manager Kevin Cash confirmed. Adames will head back to Triple-A when Joey Wendle returns from the paternity list. This means that Adames is not worth adding in most redraft leagues unless you have room to stash him. However, if you currently have an empty roster spot and need shortstop help for the next couple of days, he could fit that need. It does, however, seem that Adames is now the next man up for the Rays if another infielder heads to the disabled list, making him a player to stash in deeper leagues.--Ben Rolfe
