4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Willy Hernangomez rolled to a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double in the team's final game of the season on Sunday. He also had two blocks and one steal in a home loss to the Lakers. Hernangomez shot 8-for-11 from the field and 3-for-5 at the foul line. The Spanish center became a fantasy factor late in the season when Steven Adams (toe) went down and the team waved the white flag in the playoff race. It's the same old story with him, as Hernangomez always puts up good numbers when he gets meaningful playing time, but the consistent minutes sadly aren't there for him. He averaged 11.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game in 12 outings as a starter this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
