4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Willy Hernangomez collected a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double in Monday's 109-87 win over the Clippers, shooting 5-for-7 from the field and logging 31 minutes as a starter. Steven Adams (toe) sat this one out. Hernangomez produced three steals and one block on the defensive end. He seems to always put up nice numbers when he gets enough minutes, but that mostly isn't the case. The Pelicans play the Nuggets next, which would be a great matchup for Hernangomez with Denver allowing opposing centers to shoot 56 percent against them, but Adams' injury doesn't sound very serious, and he could easily return on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
