5 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Wilmer Font is set to make his first start as a member of the team Friday against the Orioles. The Blue Jays are the third team Font has played with this year. He began the season with the Rays, then spent about two months with the Mets before joining the Blue Jays. Font made three starts with the Mets but has primarily been a reliever this season with 26 relief appearances. He has a 5.09 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP on the year. Even though the Orioles are a favorable matchup, Font is a risky start and should remain on waivers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
