7 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (bruised hand) is back in the starting lineup Thursday. Ramos was injured Tuesday but was apparently available as a pinch hitter Wednesday. The catcher is having a solid second season in Tampa Bay after an injury hit debut season. In 148 plate appearances, Ramos has six home runs, 22 RBI and a .288 batting average. He has shown he can be a successful hitter with 22 HRs and a .307 batting average for the Nationals in 2016. Ramos is more than capable of producing that performance again in 2018 and is a valuable fantasy asset at the catcher position.--Ben Rolfe
