4 years agoThe Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets matchup that was set to take place Wednesday has been postponed due to new positive COVID-19 tests among the Wizards' roster. The team has now had seven players test positive for the virus, which has kept them off the floor for the past week. It's unclear when Washington could get the green light to return to action, but having their game waived off so far in advance is not a sign of things moving in the right direction. They're next scheduled to play Friday against Milwaukee, but that contest is certainly up in the air, making any Wizards difficult season-long options for the remainder of the week. Charlotte returns to the floor Friday when they welcome in Chicago.--Jesse Borek
