3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (hand) underwent X-rays on his right hand on Tuesday. The X-rays came up negative. According to A's manager Mark Kotsay, Laureano took some batting practice in the batting cage on Tuesday and felt a "much bigger improvement" from the previous day. Laureano was hit by a pitch in his right hand this past Sunday and has been held out of action ever since. He remains day-to-day at this point. The 27-year-old is slashing .167/.310/.250 with two stolen bases and seven runs over 16 games on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
