4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina will return to the club’s starting nine for Thursday’s contest against the Reds and right-hander Sonny Gray. Molina has been absent from the lineup since July 29 due to a positive COVID-19 test, but he has a tough task ahead of him in his first game back, making him a finicky DFS option. While he is yet to produce a barrel this year and ranks near the bottom of the league with an average exit velocity of 85 MPH, Molina will be a season-long commodity due to his history of production. Correspondingly, Matt Wieters has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a contusion of his left big toe, which should allow Molina to see ample time behind the dish.--Jesse Borek
