3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (illness) has been scratched from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Andrew Knizner will be getting the start behind the plate in his place. According to Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol, Molina woke up with some sinus-like symptoms. He tested negative for COVID-19, but Marmol opted to give Molina the day off. The 39-year-old veteran has a .208/.208/.229 slash line over 14 games so far this year.
