2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (knee) has yet to be cleared for baseball activities, according to Cardinals beat writer John Denton. Molina, who has been on the injured list due to right knee inflammation since June 16, is currently rehabbing the injury back in Puerto Rico. Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol stated that Molina is both "working hard" and "feeling better," but that he remains without a timetable. The 39-year-old announced that 2022 would be his last season in the majors. He's been held to just 38 games so far this year and he's slashed .213/.225/.294 with two home runs, 10 RBI and 10 runs. The Cardinals will continue to rotate between Andrew Knizner and Austin Romine at catcher while the future Hall of Famer remains out.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
