3 years agoThe New York Yankees released infielder Rougned Odor on Tuesday. Odor was previously designated for assignment by New York to make room on the 40-man roster for prospects eligible for the Rule 5 draft. In 361 plate appearances for the Yankees last season, Odor hit .202 with a .286 on-base percentage, an 83 wRC+ and 15 home runs. Currently, the infielders on New York's 40-man roster include DJ LeMahieu, Gleyber Torres, Gio Urshela, Luke Voit, Oswald Peraza, Chris Gittens and Oswaldo Cabrera.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
