2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Joey Gallo will likely be wearing a new jersey at this time next week -- so long as the team can find a suitor for him. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Yankees are actively shopping Gallo, but they are having trouble finding a trade partner who will agree to send back the "type of prospect they seek." Heyman stated that both the San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers have expressed interest in Gallo, but both are -- understandably -- much more engaged in Juan Soto trade talks at the moment. It's been a nightmare season for Gallo thus far. Across 80 games, he's slashed just .161/.285/.343 with 12 home runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
