5 years agoMiami Heat power forward Yante Maten put together a strong showing during Tuesday’s Summer League win over the Sacramento Kings, collecting 21 points and nine rebounds. Maten took advantage of his trips to the free-throw stripe, where he finished 11-for-13. The 22-year-old got his first taste of NBA action last season in a brief two-game stint with Miami, but is looking to crack the rotation on a more consistent basis heading into the upcoming season in the wake of the deal that sent big men Kelly Olynyk and Derrick Jones Jr. to Dallas.--Jesse Borek
