3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed third baseman Yoan Moncada (groin) on the 10-day injured list prior to Monday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He is dealing with a strained right hamstring. The injury first flared up in this past Friday's game and he's been held out of action ever since, making his move to the injured list retroactive to June 18. Jake Burger will have an opportunity for increased playing time with Moncada out. Burger has slashed .294/.357/.627 with four home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs so far in June.
