3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Yu Darvish led the team to a 2-0 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. He pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing six hits and no walks while striking out five. The right-hander earned the win to improve to 4-1 on the season. This was a nice rebound outing for Darvish after he was tagged for five earned runs by the Atlanta Braves last time out. He has now turned in a quality start in five of his last six outings and he has a 3.93 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP on the year.
