3 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is not part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Aledmys Diaz will be taking over at first base for the contest. After hitting a career-high .319 last year, Gurriel has been extremely disappointing so far through 2022. He has a .227/.282/.390 slash line to go along with seven homers, 24 RBI and 29 runs. His .240 xBA doesn't inspire much confidence, nor does his .353 xSLG, which ranks in the bottom 8% of the league.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
