Zach LaVine Drops Team-High 29 Points In Defeat
6 years agoChicago Bulls point/shooting guard Zach LaVine was a one-man offense during Friday’s blowout loss versus the Golden State Warriors. LaVine logged just 27 minutes, but finished with 29 points on an efficient 10-for-16 outing from the floor. He added four rebounds, but did not collect an assist, racking up five turnovers. His performance marked the first time this season he has failed to record an assist, although he remains on pace to set a new career high in 2018-19 with 4.2 per game. At the very least, it appears his shooting touch is back, which bodes well for Saturday against the Utah Jazz, who boast the league’s best defense against opposing shooting guards this season.
