6 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine finished Monday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs with 28 points on 10-for-26 shooting, including going three of eight from deep. He had a chance to win the game in the closing seconds, but settled for a three that bricked off the rim. LaVine was close not only to his second double-double of the season, but his first triple-double, finishing with eight rebounds and seven assists, while also registering six turnovers. He remains one of the league’s premier high-volume scorers and is even more valuable to those who don’t have to worry about field-goal percentage.--Jesse Borek
