6 years agoChicago Bulls point/shooting guard Zach LaVine went for a team-best 24 points during Friday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, shooting 9-for-18 from the floor, but also curiously 5-for-10 from the free-throw stripe. It was an up-and-down type outing for LaVine, who added six rebounds, but had just two assists and five turnovers. It’s a step in the right direction after his eight-point performance against Detroit back in November, but he’ll be tasked with delivering a more complete stat line Sunday when the two teams meet again.--Jesse Borek
