Zach LaVine Leads Team In Scoring For Sixth Straight Game
5 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine dropped a team-high 23 points on 9-for-20 shooting during Friday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, leading his squad in scoring for the ninth time in its last 10 games. For just the fourth time all season, LaVine failed to knock down a shot from behind the arc, finishing 0-for-7, marking the first occasion since Nov. 21, 2016, that he attempted so many shots from long range and failed to connect. His stat line was boosted by his seven rebounds and three assists. He will next face Cleveland on Saturday, a defense that has not only scuffled to slow opposing backcourts this season, but is on the second leg of a back-to-back; LaVine has shot 44.9 percent from deep this season (six games) on zero days rest.
